You can knit these mittens in any two contrasting colors in the yarn of your choice. I think they would be equally fun in pink! The mittens pictured were knit using DK weight and 2.25mm needles for a women's large / men's small size but you could easily use a sock/fingering weight yarn and smaller needles to make a child-size mitten.
